Deluge System

Water based fire extinguishing systems are the most common and simple type of protection technology most frequently used. NEWFIRE Technology designs and manufactures a wide range of water systems and in particular deluge systems.

They consist of a network of dry pipework and open nozzles connected to a water supply through a normally closed deluge valve. Every system is equipped with all necessary valves, devices and instrumentation for operation, maintenance and testing purposes.

Our technical team provides full hydraulic analysis and calculation to optimize system design and fire extinguishing performance.
The system can be customized in specific skids or mounted with frame in cabinets/containers according to customer specifications and project requirements, suitable for any environment and also with ATEX execution.

Monitor Systems

Fire-fighting monitors are a controllable high-capacity water jet used for manual or automatic fire fighting, that control the flow of water using a valve unit and a control system, where required, and are often designed to accommodate foam.

Monitors can be portable or fixed and can be controlled by operators manually or remotely. The standard design is equipped with the necessary valves and instrumentation to enable quick and easy operation, maintenance and testing.

Monitor systems are certified to meet NFPA and EN Standards, can be customized to conform to any required safety integrity level or specific project requirements, and can be delivered full flow pre-tested.

Hydrant & Hose reels

A fire hydrant is a fire-fighting device consisting of piping, fire hose and a nozzle that releases water at a specified flow rate. The nozzles can be easily opened or closed and can be adjusted to spray water mist or jet, providing versatile and optimal fire suppression.

The hose reel can be customized to meet specific project requirements can be stored in a variety of different frames, even protected inside a cabinet for environmental protection. Special cabinet can be provided for storage also of fire extinguishers and first aid kits.

Fire hoses and hydrants are the main manual intervention devices used in firefighting. These equipment, in fact also called manual firefighting equipment, are active fire protection devices that can be used to extinguish or control a fire in an emergency situation.

Water Mist Systems

Water mist systems are special fire protection systems capable of delivering very fine water spray intended to control, suppress, or extinguish fires.

They can use compressed gas or a high pressure pump to deliver water through spray nozzles, which creates a mist very effective against fires, in particular on board ships and in off-shore applications, where the amount of water is limited and it is crucial to have a fast extinguishing performance.

The system is normally equipped with the necessary valves, strainers and instrumentation for operation, maintenance and testing purposes, even in ATEX execution.

We can offers custom designs to perfectly meet specific project requirement, typically in Oil & Gas applications for the protection of Gas Turbines, Compressors, Generators, with the water mist system provided as a pre-tested package in a dedicated stainless steel cabinet or container.

Gaseous Systems

Clean agent fire suppression is a term to describe the use of inert gases and chemical agents to extinguish a fire. The system typically consists of the agent, agent storage cylinders, gas release valves, fire detection system and devices, agent delivery piping and gas discharge nozzles.

The main extinguishing principle of inert gas is to smother the fire by reducing the concentration of oxygen. There are different type of gaseous used in fire suppression system, such as Argonite, Inergen, CO2, FM200, Novec, or equivalent. Each type of gas offers specific benefits and must be properly designed according to international standard.

Gaseous systems are used as a total flooding system for a wide range of hazards, both flammable liquids and electric risks, providing safe protection to integral function of the business, leaving no residue behind making them ideal for valuable electronics and other delicate environments.

Foam Systems

Foam used in fire protection is made up of small air-filled bubbles that have a lower density than water and flammable liquids. Foam suppression systems extinguish fire by separating the fuel from the oxygen, cooling the fire and coat the surface of fuel to prevent reignition via flammable vapors

A foam fire suppression system is a type of water-based fire sprinkler suppression system wet sprinkler system that combines both water and a foaming agent for large scale fire extinguishment, with incredible efficiency.

The foaming agent is stored separately from the water and the two are mixed within the piping system prior to discharge. The proportion of foam to water depends on the application.

When the water mixes with the foaming agent, expansion occurs and creates an immense coverage of foam to fill expansive areas.

Fire Control Panels

Fire control panels are special equipment that offers control through a fire alarm or notification system; they pro­cess res­ults de­tec­ted by fire sensors, con­trol alarm devices and set off alarms to per­man­ently manned sta­tions and fire de­part­ment.

The Panel is the “brain” of the fire alarm system to which all other devices are connected. When an initiating device (such as a smoke detector or a manual pull station) transmits an alarm signal to the panel, it activates the notification devices to alert the occupants via audible and visual alarm devices.

When connect to a fire extinguishing systems, Fire Control Panels can activate automatically the discharge of the extinguishing media and monitor the overall system status. In ad­di­tion, they commu­nic­ate with risk man­age­ment sys­tems or via web in­ter­face, to have remote control.

Panels can be customized for Industrial applications, in ATEX execution, connected to Fire & Gas devices, tested and certified according to client specific project requirements.

F&G Field devices

Fire & Gas field devices include detectors (smoke, heat, flame, etc.), manual call points, beacons, hooters/bells, emergency signs. Safety and Emergency devices are the most important part of any plant, especially in OIl & Gas and Petrochemical industry.

In the great majority of automatic fire alarm systems, the end result of the detection of a fire is the initiation of audible and visual warning devices that alert the occupants to the danger so that they can evacuate the premises.

We can provide a variety of products and solutions include flame detectors, combustible gas detectors, toxic gas detectors, even explosion-proof type and addressable safety controller.

Typical applications are power stations and energy installations, chemical plants, oil refineries and petrochemical sites. We also perform maintenance and the periodic checks necessary to ensure the reliability and quick response of detection systems

Sprinkler Systems

A fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection measure, consisting of a water supply system, providing adequate pressure and flow rate to a water distribution piping system, onto which fire sprinklers are connected. A sprinkler system offers optimal fire protection in areas where there is little to no risk of rapid fire spread.

Each sprinkler activates independently when the predetermined heat level is reached. Because of this, the number of sprinklers that operate is limited to only those near the fire, thereby maximizing the available water pressure over the point of fire, providing a quick response during any fire emergency.

Sprinkler systems typically provide optimal coverage and protection in areas where personnel are usually present, like commercial buildings, offices, living quarters, workshops, and similar areas.

The installation comprises fire pumps, water storage tanks, control valve sets, sprinkler heads, flow switches, pressure switches, pipe work and valves. The system operates automatically without human intervention.
